It’s time for the weekend! Gosh, I feel like its been forever since I did a book tag (and then remembered to post it #whoops). Anywho, while we are all stuck at home, I found this amazing tag that a few of my fellow book bloggers were posting about. So, sit back, relax, and read along as I gush about my current reads and what I’ve been up to the past 2 months.

1. what are you currently reading?
So, I’ve been flying through books this past couple of months (I’m hoping to have my VERY late April Wrap Up done sometime this weekend), but I started Where Dreams Descend the other day and I’m totally loving it!
2. what’s your favorite “can’t leave the house” activity?
Being that I just finished my last year of my undergrad, I am finally getting around to doing all the hobbies that I put off throughout the year. This includes crocheting (made a blanket), cross-stitching, sewing, oh, and watching all the Netflix shows that I’m a couple years behind on😅
(this is basically me at this point)
3. a book you’ve been meaning to read for forever:
Um, all of them? But seriously; I’ve actually been pretty good with reading more backlist books from my shelves. I think I’m going to try and get to All the Bright Places (hopefully at some point in the next week maybe?) since Penguin Teen is doing a live movie watch!
4. an intimidating book on your TBR:
Hmm, I don’t really know of one book, but I can definitely think of a series. The Throne of Glass series (which I have the first 3 (?) books of) has been on my shelves for quite some time, and I think just the sheer size of the series is daunting.
5. top 3 priority books on your TBR:
Well, my “top TBR” is really anything I want to grab off my shelves at this point🤷🏻♀️ But, I have been on a cheesy vampire binge as well as reading some of the mysteries that I’ve bought but didn’t read. With that, I think my “priority” books would have to be:
- The Beautiful
- The Whisper Man
- The Selection (mostly because it’s going to be a TV show)
6. recommend a short book:
And this is the part where I really wish I read more short books. Not only would I be flying through my Goodreads goal, but they are always short and sweet (pun intended). I’ just going to leave this one since I can’t think of anything off the top of my head.
7. recommend a long book:
So, as I said, I’m going on a vampire binge, no thanks to Crave, which I loved no matter the cliches. Also, the fact that the second book is coming out in September has me screaming because that ending was WOWOWOWOW!
8. something you’d love to do while stuck at home:
So I said before that I’ve been sewing, but what I really want to do is learn to sew clothes, like t-shirts and PJ bottoms. We have quite the collection of fabric, it’s just getting around to doing it seems to be the issue.
9. what do you plan on reading next?
Ha, this is a book that I probably you’ve read last year when I finished the first one, but, whatever. I’m going with the Crooked Kingdom because I miss this band of misfits, and while I listened to the first book, I excited to read this one!
(I don’t normally call people out since some enjoy tags and others don’t, but if this tag feels like something you would be interested in, then consider yourself tagged!
